A very nice drive from Glenwood Springs, to Basalt, CO. early this morning. There is lots of summer construction ongoing in this area, private homes and commercial building. There was a 10 minute wait to pay for coffee at the 7-11 near our hotel this morning. Then off we went along with all the other commuters heading south on Colorado 82. Basalt appears to be a quaint eclectic small Colorado mountain community. Lots of small shops where apparently both the locals and those of use who are just visiting for business or pleasure also go.

We spent a small amount of time in Glenwood Springs this afternoon, at the Tuesday Farmers Market which occurs from 4-8p. We purchased a few local tomato's and a pound of plums. Then we headed back to the Glenwood Brewery for dinner and some more great brews.
