I just saw the forecast on T.V. and it appears that we'll miss any snow here in the metro area. There is lots of summer construction ongoing in this area, private homes and commercial building.  There was a 10 minute wait to pay for coffee at the 7-11 near our  hotel this morning.  Then off we went along with all the other commuters heading south on Colorado 82.
